Softball Preview: Checotah Wildcats vs. Sallisaw Black Diamonds
The Checotah Wildcats will play host again on Thursday to welcome the Sallisaw Black Diamonds, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Checotah's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Sallisaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Checotah will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against Okemah on Tuesday. Checotah blew past Okemah 13-5.

Checotah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Sallisaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
