If North Branch wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Armada, they should've done a better job of containing Jackson Malburg. The Tigers enjoyed a cozy 31-14 win over the Broncos on Friday with plenty of help from Malburg, who rushed for 216 yards and four scores. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 15 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Despite the loss, North Branch still got an impressive performance from Micheal Gorman, who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries.

Armada's record is now 5-2. As for North Branch, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Armada will venture away from home to face off against Imlay City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Branch, they will host Almont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
