Basketball Recap: Abbotsford Comes Up Short

Abbotsford suffered their closest loss since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Prentice Buccaneers by a score of 81-78. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Abbotsford's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Prentice, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbotsford will head out to challenge Rib Lake at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th. As for Prentice, they are taking a road trip to face off against Tomahawk at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
