Softball Recap: Jasper Comes Up Short

Jasper managed to slip by Chelsea the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 9-3 to the Hornets on Saturday. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Bryleigh Butler was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Chelsea, their record now sits at 9-5.

Coming up, Jasper is taking a road trip to take on Winfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chelsea, they will host Pell City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
