Volleyball Game Preview: Stern Titans vs. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins

The Stern Titans will take on the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stern, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Stern turned things around against Rise Kohyang on Tuesday. They blew past the Tritons 3-0.

One reason for the win was Stern's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to Lake Balboa College Prep.

While Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology ultimately came up short, they really made Lake Balboa College Prep work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 21-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Stern, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-7.
