Recap: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Thunderbird Titans
After a string of five wins, the Paradise Honors Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Thunderbird 44-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Paradise Honors in their matchups with Thunderbird: they've now lost three in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Paradise Honors lost, one person who can't be blamed is Morgan Van Dyke. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Jocelyn Leal was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Paradise Honors' defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Thunderbird, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Paradise Honors and Shadow Mountain will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Shadow Mountain focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
