Recap: Grayville Bison vs. Woodlawn Cardinals
The Grayville Bison suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Woodlawn by a score of 50-48. Grayville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Woodlawn apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Bison players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty'zae Rowland, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jake Hosman, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Grayville and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Woodlawn, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.
Grayville on the road again on Tuesday and play against Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Woodlawn, they will be playing at home against Grayville at 6:15 p.m. Grayville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 62.9 points per game.
