Softball Recap: Garnet Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Garnet Valley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Strath Haven Panthers. With that victory, the Jaguars brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Arieanna Dawson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Zoey Rogers, who scored two runs while going 1-for-5.

Dawson wasn't the only one making solid contact: Garnet Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. The Jaguars are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win was the third in a row for Garnet Valley, bringing their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Strath Haven, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
