Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbus). They put the hurt on the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors with a sharp 21-5 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Columbus is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeside Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Marshall on the 16th. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lodi on the 14th.
