The Overhills Jaguars will take on the Scotland Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Overhills is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Overhills is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Westover a 25-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Jordan Frink made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, eight RBI, and four runs while going 2-for-4. Those eight RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kolt Berry was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Houston Poole, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Overhills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Scotland came up short against Pinecrest on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Fighting Scots haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Overhills pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Scotland, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Overhills suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Scotland when the teams last played back in March of 2016. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
