Calvary Christian Academy and Cross Christian Academy pushed the score to 69-38 the last time they played Cross Christian Academy, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The LIONS took their game with ease, bagging a 54-6 win over the Centurions. With the LIONS ahead 34-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Calvary Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from AJ Aboagye, who posted nine points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul Hensley (HS), who earned nine points and five rebounds.

The victory got Calvary Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.
