Volleyball Game Preview: North Thurston Rams vs. Central Kitsap Cougars + How To Watch

North Thurston is on a 22-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Central Kitsap is on a nine-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Rams will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Thurston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Timberline, who was ranked 13th at the time (North Thurston was ranked fourth). The Rams walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Blazers on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Timberline scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 25-21.

North Thurston can attribute much of their success to Anna Sheeran, who had 24 digs. That's the most digs Sheeran has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Central Kitsap made easy work of Gig Harbor on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Central Kitsap's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for North Thurston, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.

North Thurston took their win against Central Kitsap in their previous meeting back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
