            Softball Recap: String Theory vs. Nueva Esperanza        
        
		
        
        
            While String Theory's  win against Nueva Esperanza wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. String Theory sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  victory over Nueva Esperanza  on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win String Theory has posted  since May 10, 2024.

 Annamae Uhl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, String Theory saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Genesis Mejia-Rodriquez, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  run.
String Theory has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season. As for Nueva Esperanza, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-5-1.
 Coming up, String Theory will take on Central at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday. Nueva Esperanza has  already played their next  matchup (against Saul), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
