Softball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe and Lake Creek squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Santa Fe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 8-0. The Indians have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Lake Creek, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 32-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Santa Fe by a score of 6-1 on Thursday.
