Softball Recap: Lower Merion Find Success

Lower Merion's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans.

Carly Breen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Evyn Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lower Merion's win bumped their record up to 5-9-1. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Lower Merion will be playing in front of their home fans against Radnor at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Aces are facing the Raptors at the right time seeing as the Raptors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, they will challenge Upper Darby at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
