Medford won the last time they faced Northland Pines and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 12-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Northland Pines saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eden Smith had 26 digs and one assist. Smith is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 21 every time she's taken the court this season.

Medford picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-9. As for Northland Pines, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Coming up, Medford will be playing in front of their home fans against Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northland Pines, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus Catholic on the 27th.
