Volleyball Recap: Metamora's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The Metamora Redbirds came up short against the Mascoutah Indians on Saturday and fell 2-0.

While Metamora ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

Metamora's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Mascoutah, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8.

Metamora has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Williamsville on the 11th. As for Mascoutah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bloomington Central Catholic on the 11th.
