Softball Recap: Springboro Panthers vs. Centerville Elks

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Springboro was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 8-1 to the Centerville Elks. Springboro was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Centerville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Springboro got a good showing from Kinley Johnson, who struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, Springboro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bri Schul, who went 1-for-3 with a double.
