Soccer Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

If Trinity was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southwestern Randolph last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trinity Bulldogs fell just short of the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will face off against Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, they will square off against Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
