Basketball Recap: Dolgeville Comes Up Short

Dolgeville lost against Cooperstown back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dolgeville Blue Devils took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cooperstown Hawkeyes. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Hawkeyes are ranked 83rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Dolgeville and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Cooperstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Dolgeville will venture away from home to take on West Canada Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cooperstown, they will welcome Morrisville-Eaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
