Andrew Jackson Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Beaufort Academy Eagles. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Thursday.

Andrew Jackson Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella Carrigg led the charge by getting four digs and three aces. Carrigg is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 20 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was McKinnley Beard, who had 12 kills, four digs, and one block.

Andrew Jackson Academy's record is now 26-7. As for Beaufort Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
