Gateway found their leader in sophomore Lyric Wynn, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 80 rushing yards gave Wynn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeramiah Stark, who picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cheyenne Mountain's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Kriss, who gained 69 total yards and two touchdowns, and Sam Hawker, who threw for 97 yards and a touchdown.
