Softball Recap: Telecommunication Arts Tech's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Telecommunication Arts Tech dropped their record down to 11-2 on Monday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Sunset Park HEAT by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the HEAT this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-14 back in April.

As for Sunset Park, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.1 runs.

For Sunset Park's part, they got a big performance out of Ransely Rodriguez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Melanea Francisco, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Telecommunication Arts Tech nor Sunset Park have any future games scheduled.
