Baseball Recap: Cabool Comes Up Short

Cabool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Liberty Eagles. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Cabool saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Noirfalise, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Noirfalise has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Cabool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Liberty, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cabool will take on Willow Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to take on Ellington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
