Softball Recap: Maine Central Institute Drops Season-High Score on Penquis Valley

Maine Central Institute came out on top against Penquis Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Huskies blew past the Patriots 13-3. The Huskies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Bailey Churchill, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Keydaliz (Chi Chi) Rivera also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
