Soccer Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss

The matchup between Rangeview and Smoky Hill on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. Rangeview lost 6-2 to Smoky Hill. Rangeview haven't had much luck with Smoky Hill recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hazel Bonansinga and Zuleyka Perez scored both of Rangeview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Smoky Hill, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Rangeview will square off against Denver South at 6:30 p.m. on April 3. Denver South's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Rangeview's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Smoky Hill, they will take on Cherry Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherry Creek will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Smoky Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
