Union City is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be playing at home against the Huntingdon Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Union City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Union City will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Dyer County on Thursday. Union City came out on top against Dyer County by a score of 5-3. The Golden Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Choctaws recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Union City hit Dyer County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucas Ajanel-Baten (2), Khazarion Scates, Juan Barron, and Brandt Huffstutter.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Huntingdon was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 5-1 to Henry County. The Mustangs have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Huntingdon's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Union City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
