Football Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

If Westside was feeling good fresh off their 33-0 takedown of Parker last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Westside Wolverines wound up with the same score they had in their last game (33-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Stingrays recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Atlantic Coast, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ribault at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Westside is facing Ribault at the right time seeing as Ribault is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Atlantic Coast also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Englewood at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Atlantic Coast will be up against Englewood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
