Recap: Santa Fe Indians vs. Friendswood Mustangs
The Santa Fe Indians lost against the Friendswood Mustangs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Santa Fe took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Friendswood. Santa Fe has not had much luck with Friendswood recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Santa Fe's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Hannah Doerre, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds, and Gracie Rambin who scored 15 points. The game was Doerre's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Santa Fe has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Friendswood, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Texas City the next time they take the court. Friendswood will head out to face Texas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Santa Fe will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
