Red Rock lost to Payson back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Scorpions came out on top against the Longhorns by a score of 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for Red Rock as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Payson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ben Metzger (2), Yoiner Agudelo Esparza, and Jean-Carlo Gonzalez.

Red Rock's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Payson, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Rock will challenge Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Rock will be up against Williams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Payson, they will host Snowflake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
