Volleyball Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

Blaine lost against Mount Vernon back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Borderites fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.

Blaine has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season. As for Mount Vernon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine will face off against rival Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount Vernon is set to take on their familiar foe Burlington-Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
