Baseball Recap: Runnels Falls to the Church Academy in First Game of Season

Runnels had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against The Church Academy Crusaders on Wednesday, falling 12-0. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Runnels had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
