Basketball Recap: Central School Takes a Loss

Central School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 75-11 loss at the hands of the Claiborne Academy Rebels. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-5.

It was another big night for Reagan Feazell, who went 12 for 15 on his way to 24 points for Claiborne Academy. The dominant performance gave Feazell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler MonK, who posted nine points and five steals.

Central School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Claiborne Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Central School won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Briarfield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Claiborne Academy, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Riverdale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
