Notasulga dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. The matchup between the Blue Devils and the Billingsley Bears didn't end well, with the Blue Devils falling 36-19. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Billingsley, the victory got them back to even at 4-4. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Billingsley was led to victory by Kyle Boice and Kaden Cotton. Boice rushed for 142 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, while Cotton gained 215 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Cotton racked up 181 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
