Asher Anderson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Monday. He struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 11 consecutive appearances.

Anderson's effort led Merritt Island over Suncoast and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
