Soccer Recap: Wahlert Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Wahlert has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Denver Cyclones. While losing is never fun, Wahlert can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 68th, while Denver are ranked 13th).

Wahlert's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for Denver, they pushed their record up to 26-0-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home.

As of now, neither Wahlert nor the Cyclones have any future games scheduled.
