Delaney Young Game Report: vs Saucon Valley

Delaney Young put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Thursday. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). She was dominant the last time she took on Saucon Valley back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming.

Young and Southern Lehigh will welcome Catasauqua at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rough Riders thanks in part to Young: she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk).
