Basketball Recap: Derryfield Beats Coe-Brown Academy for Their Third Straight Win

Derryfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They secured a 48-44 W over the Coe-Brown Academy Bears. The 48-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Derryfield's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Derryfield will be playing at home against ConVal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coe-Brown Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Kingswood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
