Spencerville came into Monday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers on Monday as they made off with an 8-2 win. The Bearcats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 14th (when they won 19-3).

Spencerville's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spencerville will square off against Fort Jennings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Musketeers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Bearcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will challenge Upper Scioto Valley on Thursday.
