Football Recap: Dillon Christian Takes a Loss

Dillon Christian had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it four. They came up short against the Trinity Collegiate Titans, falling 35-13. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Dillon Christian still got an impressive performance from R Bracey, who picked up 141 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 33 yards. Bracey got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 80 yards.

As for Trinity Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 3-2. They haven't had any issues with Dillon Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Collegiate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Davidson Lynch, who threw for 114 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown. Desmond Williams II also helped with two scores in total.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will host Hilton Head Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Trinity Collegiate, they will square off against Northside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
