Basketball Recap: Marshall Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Marshall entered their tilt with New Ulm on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They beat the New Ulm Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 82-69. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Eagles are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Marshall's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-1. As for New Ulm, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-11.
