Basketball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Comes Up Short

Weyauwega-Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-59 to the Algoma Wolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Wolves are ranked 147th).

Weyauwega-Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Algoma, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Weyauwega-Fremont nor Algoma have any future games scheduled.
