Softball Recap: Trenton Central Takes a Loss

Trenton Central fell victim to Ewing and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 28-0. If the Tornadoes were looking for revenge after losing 26-1 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trenton Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delianna Marte, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Trenton Central dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ewing, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Trenton Central and Ewing will both be playing Hightstown the next time they take the field. Ewing will host Hightstown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Trenton Central will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
