Volleyball Recap: Westville Find Success

Westville saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tri-Central Trojans by a score of 2-0.

Myleigh Weaver went supernova, getting six aces and four digs. What's more, she posted three kills, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Weaver wasn't the only good server: Westville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Westville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tri-Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Westville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Oregon-Davis on the 18th. As for Tri-Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Taylor on the 19th.
