Volleyball Recap: Max S. Hayes' Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Max S. Hayes's win against Glenville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers skirted past the Tarblooders 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Max S. Hayes had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 24-26, 25-18, 25-13, 15-11.

Max S. Hayes' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Glenville, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Max S. Hayes will square off against rival Lincoln West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Glenville is set to take on their familiar foe East Tech at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th.
