County Line is 6-1 against Mulberry since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The County Line Indians will head out to face off against the Mulberry Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
County Line lost 13-7 to Ozark on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Hillbillies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
County Line got a massive performance out of Virginia Besier, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Reames, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Meanwhile, Mulberry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Scranton, falling 19-0.
Having lost for the first time this season, County Line fell to 2-1. As for Mulberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
County Line took their victory against Mulberry in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for County Line since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
