 Stoneman Douglas is 9-1 against Monarch since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Stoneman Douglas Eagles will challenge the Monarch Knights at 6:00  p.m. Stoneman Douglas is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last five games.

He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylan Lujo, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile,  with a playoff game on the line, Monarch rose to the challenge  on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Colts out  2-0.
 The result came thanks to  Danny Tartaglia's shutout, as he gave up just six  hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Dominic Guzman, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 Stoneman Douglas is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record  this season. As for Monarch, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
 Everything went Stoneman Douglas' way against Monarch when the teams last played  back in February as Stoneman Douglas made off with  a  10-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stoneman Douglas since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
