Baseball Recap: Rayville Wins Going Away Against Madison

Rayville won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Jaguars. Considering the Hornets have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rayville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Rayville will square off against Mangham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
