Freeport made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Knoch, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 13-4 win on Wednesday. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Freeport is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Knoch, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeport will take on Burrell at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Knoch, they will challenge Indiana at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
