Basketball Recap: Thomas More Prep-Marian Beats Hoxie for Their Fourth Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Thomas More Prep-Marian rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over the Hoxie Indians. This was a revenge game for the Monarchs: when they faced off against the Indians back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-23 defeat.

The win (which was Thomas More Prep-Marian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Hoxie, their loss dropped their record down to 19-4.

Coming up, Thomas More Prep-Marian will square off against Moundridge at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Moundridge will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Thomas More Prep-Marian surely won't give up without a fight. Hoxie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
